Sex Offenders

This section of the website was developed by the Offender Management Committee of the Task Force and contains information about sex offenders that is useful for community members and professionals alike.

Those professionals who work directly or indirectly with sexual offenders share the mission of the Attorney General's Sexual Assault Task Force. The inclusion of sex offender specialists in the detection, investigation, prosecution, management, supervision and treatment of sexual offenders can greatly enhance the honorable goals of victim protection, community safety, and offender accountability.

Offender Management Committee

Only through a collaborative multidisciplinary approach of working with other disciplines and sharing knowledge can the mission of the Offender Management Committee be fulfilled.

The purpose of the Offender Management Committee is to support victim advocacy and collaboration by providing education and training through our knowledge and expertise about the prevention, detection, management and treatment of those who sexually assault.
